Connor MacKenzie was born in the United States in 1956. After graduating from high school, Connor declined a medical scholarship to Stanford University. Instead, Connor traveled the world working at many jobs, including window washer, hot-air balloon pilot, house painter, time-share salesman in Mexico, school bus driver, street musician, English teacher in the Dominican Republic, ranch hand, e-zine publisher, bio-diesel manufacturer, sailboat captain, carpet cleaner, pig photographer, and computer programmer. He now resides on California’s North Coast, where the redwoods meet the sea.
